Valuation and authentication

Spirit of Sport offers the following services:-

• Authentication - We will assess your item of memorabilia and, using our in-house expert and records, will advise if, in our opinion, the item presented is as described and authentic. If the item is outside our area of expertise we will inform you of a suitable company or individual that can help. A one page report on our findings will be submitted and our charge for this service starts at £25 plus postage and packing.
• Valuation - If you already have an item of sporting memorabilia we will use our experience and records to locate a recent sale of a similar item to provide you with a guide valuation. If this is not possible we will research past auctions to establish a value. A report will be submitted with suggested methods of sale, should you wish sell the item. Our charge for this service is £25 plus postage and packing.
• Buying Service - We offer competitive prices for single items or memorabilia collections.
• Selling Service - If you have an item to sell we can, in special circumstances, place the item on our site for general sale. In this case we would charge a commission on the sale on the item. This can be used for items that are difficult to value as they rarely become available or are a fairly new item of sporting collectable.

If both a valuation and authentication service is required only one charge will apply. Please note we cannot provide valuations by email or verbally. The item has to been seen.
