Henry Cooper v Cassius Clay photo presentation - 18 June 1963

Item Number:  1641

This stunning special edition photographic presentation shows the moment when Cooper nearly ended Ali’s march to the world title.

It was on 18 June 1963 at Wembley Stadium when Cooper knocked Ali (then Cassius Clay) down in the fourth round with his trademark left hook, "Enry's 'Ammer". The bell rang before Cooper could complete a knockout, and Ali was so dazed that legend has it his trainer, Angelo Dundee, cut his glove. Another had to fetched, giving the future champion time to recover.

It is presented in a super thick black wood surround with inset mounts and an engraved plaque that lists the title and a description

It measures an impressive 50cm by 35cm (approx) and is a super item celebrating an icon of British Boxing, Sir Henry Cooper.
