They played a 5 match Tests series loosing 3-0, with two matches drawn.

This Gradidge bat is signed by 19 of the West Indian touring party and includes; Sir ED Weekes, AL Valentine, JDC Goddard(c), Clyde Walcott, Frank Worrell, Denis Atkinson, Alf Valentine, Bruce Pairaudeau, Gerry Alexander, Sir Gary Sobers, Roy Gilchrist, Rohan Kanhai, Tom Dewdney, Andy Ganteaume, Wes Hall, Nyron Asgarali and Collie Smith.

Bearing in mind the bat is over 60 years old it is presented in good condition with most of the signatures clear and legible.
