Wasim Akram - Signed 500th Wicket Presentation

This superb item of memorabilia is a photo of the Pakistani fast bowling legend Wasim Akram, which is personally signed across the front. The image is of Akram taking his 500th wicket in one day internationals during the 2003 World Cup. It has recently been framed in a brushed silver surround with a double inset white and green mounts, measuring an impressive 53cm x 45cm. It also contains a plaque that reads : Wasim Akram – Pakistan He is regarded as one of the best fast bowlers in the history of cricket. He holds the world record for most wickets in first class cricket with 881 and is second only to Sri Lankan off-spin bowler, Muttiah Muralitharan in terms of One Day International wickets with 502. (as of 2011). He is considered to be one of the founders and perhaps the finest exponent of reverse swing bowling.
