Ryder Cup 2006 photo presentation
Item Number: 1426
The 36th Ryder Cup Tournament was held in September 2006 at The K Club in Ireland. Team Europe again beat the Americans by a score of 18½ to 9½, equalling their record winning margin of 2 years earlier. This was the first time Europe had achieved three successive victories. A magnificent team performance culminated in Swedish rookie Henrik Stenson making the winning putt, just moments after Luke Donald had sunk a putt to ensure Europe retained the trophy. This stunning special edition photo presentation contains a photo of the winning European team with a plaque detailing the scores and details of the event. It is presented in a stunning silver surround with dual inset mounts, measuring in at an impressive 50cm by 35cm. A great item to celebrate another Ryder Cup win that would make a great gift.
