This is a unique collection of 10 unused tickets from the 2009, British & Irish Lions Rugby Union Tour to South Africa. This item comprising the three Test Matches and the seven non-test matches played on the tour. The British and Irish Lions played a three-match Test series against South Africa, with matches in Durban, Pretoria and Johannesburg. South Africa won the Test series, defeating the Lions 2621 in the first Test, and then 2825 in the second Test. The third Test was won by the Lions 289. The highlight of the series was the second Test, which the Lions had led until the 76th minute, when they fell 2522 behind. Two minutes later, Stephen Jones slotted a penalty to draw the sides at 2525 with only two minutes left on the clock. However, two minutes into injury time, Morne Steyn scored a 52m penalty kick, to win the match at 2825. This is a truly unique item of British and Irish Lions memorabilia.
