Ingemar Johansson enjoyed a successful career as a heavyweight. He retired in 1963 with a record of 26 wins, 17 by KO, and only 2 losses, and was named to the Ring Magazine's list of greatest punchers of all time. He fought Floyd Patterson 3 times, winning two and became the undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World. In 1963 he laboured to a points win over Brian London and then wisely decided to retire. This unique one-off presentation contains an historic press photo of the boxer posing, with a separate inset signature. Part of a large private collection, it has recently been professionally re-framed in a silver surround with double mounts and inset plaque, measuring in at 41cm by 33cm (approx). It has been fully authenticated by an industry expert. A super collectable from one of the boxing legends, Ingemar Johansson.
