Herschelle Gibbs is an extrordinary cricketer. As a batsman he combines raw power with intelligent shot making. As an individual he has a healthy sense of humour, which makes him a constant source of on field commentary, perhaps on occasions to the dismay of his fellow internationals!

He has 60 Test caps for South Africa and has also played in 155 ODI’s. He played for Lashings against the Northern Titans in the 2004 Tour to his homeland. In a side of multi-talented cricketers it is noteworthy that Wisden commented that he is “the new Jonty Rhodes”.
