England - Cricket legends – Multi signed bat presentation

This exceptionally rare item of signed Cricket memorabilia is a bat presentation signed by many players who are considered legends of English Cricket.

Titled ‘England Cricket Legends’, the bat is signed by many distinguished players from different eras, to include, Denis Compton, Leslie Compton, Alec Bedser, Eric Bedser Len Hutton, Peter May, Gubby Allen, Bill Edrich, Ken Barrington, Ray Illingworth, CS Elliot, Tony Greig, Allan Knott, Derek Underwood and Alan Smith.

Inset around the bat are photos of many of the players in action and there is a plaque that lists each player and the position of the photos.

It has recently been re-framed and is presented in a stunning light wood deep box surround with inset blue and red mounts, measuring in at a large and impressive 97cm by 59cm by 7cm.

The bat was won by a private individual in a raffle in the early 70’s who has stored it ever since.

Bearing in mind many of these legends are no longer with us, it represents a rare item of England Cricket history and a fine addition to a collection.
