Maradona will be forever remembered as one of the greatest, if not the greatest player the world has ever seen. His amazing goal against England in the 1986 World Cup finals where he beat 6 English defenders is still talked about today.

Despite his off-field problems, this great player should be judged by his exploits on the field!

Spirit of Sport are delighted to offer this truly rare item of sporting memorabilia.

This Golden Boot was commissioned by the sponsors (Squadra Management) and presented to the most prodigious players at Maradona's farewell match on 10 Nov 2001.

Only five were ever made and were awarded to Pele, Platini, Mathaus and Maradona himself. The final boot, being offered for sale here, was presented to the sponsor. The boot is presented on a Perspex plinth and is signed by Maradona.

Being one of only five this is a truly rare item of memorabilia.
