Archie Moore vs. Muhammad Ali - Signed photo
Item Number: 2142
Archie Moore, (December 13, 1913 – December 9, 1998), was a light heavyweight world champion between 1952 and 1959 (and again in 1961) and had one of the longest professional careers in the history of his sport. Nicknamed "The Old Mongoose", Moore still holds the record for the most career knockouts by any boxer, at 145. He is the only boxer ever to have fought both Muhammad Ali and Rocky Marciano and sadly passed away in 1998 aged 82. This superb item of signed boxing memorabilia is a black and white, 10” by 8” photo of Archie Moore’s fight against Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) in 1962. It is personally signed by Moore across his image and a photo of Moore signing is also supplied. He signed this photo at a formal signing in the mid 90’s. A super item of signed Archie Moore memorabilia.
